The Web Design Broker is a brokerage, we offer a free service for people to find a web designer or graphic designer for their onine projects. We do not directly offer design services, we simply help you find a company who do.

The site is completely free for companies looking for a web designer, you can join, place an advert and recieve quotes from our designers completely free. We simply charge web designers a very small amount (maximum of £1) to quote for projects.

No, English law prohibits charging people to find recruitment, therefore it is very important that job positions are not placed on the site. Any advertisements of this nature will be removed and any credits spent on them refunded immediately.

We wanted to get the site going so we launched fully operational, but not with all the bells and whistles we were after. In the next few weeks and months we will be adding lots of functionality and making many changes, these include:

• Customer Experience Tracking - Allowing, amongst other things, for the requests to be ordered by the activity of the customer so designers know the requests near the top are from active customers.
• SMS integration, we are adding courtesy text messages for new quotes and adding credits to your account as well as other key events.
• Additional payment options including Google Checkout and UK Cheques are being added to the site.
• We are busy coding a designer portfolio system, allowing the designers to add a portfolio of their work to help demonstrate to customers their true abilities. This will include adding unlimited web sites which will be indexed regularly and screenshots taken automatically. This portfolio of work will form part of the quote given to customers.
• Full messaging between customer and designer within the site allowing for a conversation before giving out contact details.
